Believe in Charity and Photo Thank You Cards!

Are you running in a charity race soon? Walking to raise money to find a cure for cancer? Charity events are a great opportunity to send photo thank you cards.

Photo Thank You Cards

I recently supported Rutgers University football player Eric LeGrand in “A Walk to Believe.” LeGrand, a junior defensive tackle for the Scarlet Knights, suffered a spinal cord injury last October in a game against Army, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. Being a Rutgers alum and long-time fan of the football team, I was happy to get involved in the event. I walked the 5K course along with my husband and a few friends, inspired by LeGrand’s incredibly positive attitude and his refusal to let the injury slow him down. Eric LeGrand has made remarkable progress and continues to “bELieve” that he will walk again. The donations from this event will help cover expenses for LeGrand and his family on his road to recovery.

After the walk, I sent photo e-cards to thank the people who sponsored me with their generous donations. It was a fun day for a great cause and I plan to make it an annual outing. I see more thank you e-cards in my future!

This is an amazing idea. Not just doing something for charity, but thanking the people that helped you. Sometimes you’ll make a donation for a walk or a 5k, and the event comes and goes and you never hear a peep. This lets you know your donation went somewhere worthy.
