The Christmas season seems so far off and then all of a sudden it is upon us. With busy schedules and always too much to do, we think we can help make shopping for your Holiday Photo Cards a bit easier this year as you browse our selection of photo cards featuring holiday symbols that reflect the fun and beauty of the season while showcasing a picture of your family or precious little ones.
There are so many variations on Photo Cards that use the traditional Christmas symbols. You may be interested to know that one of the more child friendly symbols, the Candy Cane originated long ago by a candy maker who made this confection in the shape of a shepherds crook or staff, the basic white symbolizing the purity of Christmas season.
Holiday Photo cards with Christmas trees or wreaths and lights add a special glow to the smiling faces that are captured by the photographs that they surround.
You may choose a wreath because the beauty of the Holiday symbols of pine cones, red or green ribbons, and glistening snow are so attractive. Wreathes actually symbolize the Alpha and Omega of everlasting love. That spin on this popular Holiday Symbol makes it an even more appealing icon.
When you create Holiday cards with a photo, the focus should be about the subjects in the pictures. However, I like to make the photo cards even more personal by giving thought to the whole project.
For instance, if a year has been a trying one, you could send a message of hope by using the Christmas symbols of candles or a star to subtly suggest the, “Light of the World” or the “Star” that lead the three wise men to Bethlehem.
The colorful Poinsettia plant is a favorite traditional symbol that can be used on Photo Holiday cards. You may be surprised to know that the flower of the Poinsettia is small and yellow. Surrounding the flower are large, bright red or sometimes white leaves, which many of us mistake for petals.
